Peru Travel Advisory

Effective 11/22/2022, The US State department released a warning about crime and terrorism in certain parts of Peru. It is advised to avoid traveling to the Colombian-Peruvian border area in the Loreto Region and the Valley of the Apurímac, Ene, and Mantaro Rivers (VRAEM), including areas within the Departments of Ayacucho, Cusco, Huancavelica, and Junin and the Puno Region including the Peruvian side of Lake Titicaca and the Apurimac Region.

Please be aware that if you have bought travel to Peru after 11/22/2022, any losses due to crime or terrorism when visiting these areas will not be covered as they are considered foreseen.
