IMPORTANT FOR TRAVEL TO KENYA: Effective July 30, 2026, Kenya began requiring foreign visitors to have travel insurance in place prior to entry. This mandate has been paused until a Sept 16 hearing. If reinstated, securing a comprehensive travel medical plan that satisfies Kenya’s minimum coverage requirements would be a mandatory entry requirement since domestic health insurance plans generally do not provide coverage outside your home country.
